Let’s talk first (and shortly) about the choice whether or not to marry a man or woman. Here’s a quick review:
First, consider the function that Jesus has for your life (generally to glory that is“bring God and revel in Him forever”; more especially the way you observe that playing call at your ministry and circumstances). Exactly What you think your ministry shall be, or what exactly is it now due to the fact Lord has put you? Are you considering able, most of the time, to serve Jesus better together than apart? Are you considering in a position to achieve ministry (be it your initial plan or one that you’ve got caught an eyesight for through this person) more effectively together than aside?
Next, look more closely at Ephesians 5:22-33. Go through the roles presented there for males and women. Would you desire to fill your part with all the individual in question especially in your mind? Do you feel her sacrificially, or respect and support him that you can love?
Additionally, what do others (those who you both have already been counsel that is seeking, under whose authority the partnership has brought place, Christian friends or household) think about the partnership? Does it look solid for them? Does the connection appear to be great for the two of you spiritually, glorifying to Jesus and Christ-centered?
Finally, will there be a love for this person during my heart and brain on the basis of the way Jesus has defined biblical manhood and womanhood? It is (hopefully) a further and godlier evaluation then just asking, “Am I physically attracted to him or her?” or “Do we have actually chemistry?”
Off You Get
You may decide (probably separately at this point) that marriage between the two of you is the right thing before the Lord if you get through all that soul-searching.
